How hot was it? Way too hot for the 2012 Annual Church Social that was held on Sunday, June 24, 2012. But people endured the evening to again make the event a financial success.
A total of 856 suppers were served, including those to workers. Ninety-nine meals to go were dished up.
The net profit was $26,580. This compares to $25,245 in 2011 when 973 suppers were served. The following is a listing of revenue for some of the 2012 events:
Suppers - $5,361; Animal Kingdom - $61.25; Auction - $11,160.50; Bingo - $1,367; Bounce House - $782; Cake Walk - $684; Card Game - $128; Chances - $2,530; Country Store - $670; Dime Toss - $521; Fish Pond - $155; Food and Country Store Donations - $571; Lunch Stand - $1,402.
Quilt prices and purchasers were as follows:
Cappuccino Light: $450 purchased by Mark and Carol Bergman
Faceted Jewels: $1,500 purchased by Elmer and Kathleen Ronnebaum
Grandma’s Puzzle: $1,000 purchased by Ken and Ellen Sudbeck
Northern Star: $550 purchased by Steve and Donna Sudbeck
