A big thank you to everyone who supported the 2009 St. Mary’s Parish Summer Picnic held Sunday, June 28. There were 1157 suppers served. The donations to the auction and chance books helped the parish realize a net profit of $21,907. The Alta Society also had revenue of $624 in cookbook sales. The $21,907 revenue compares to $22,522 in 2008; $21,138 in 2007; $19,034 in 2006; $19,095 in 2005; $21,421 in 2004 and $18,155 in 2003. The auction raised a total of $6,986; bingo had a net of $1251; the dime toss raised $523; the Bounce House raised $568. There revenue from chance book sales was $2,882.
